Kelty made the short trip to meet old foes Hill Of Beath in the Super League this week and deservedly came away with a 2-1 win courtesy of an amazing 5th brace in 5 games from the red hot hitman Stuart Cargill.

Kelty started with the same team from the previous 2 games and we had a strong wind behind us in the 1st half, we dominated the ball in the early stages and a deep cross from Stuart Cargill caught the Hill Of Beath goalie out and it ended up going in at the back post to give Kelty the perfect start on 5 mins.

This gave Kelty confidence with the Haws struggling to get a foothold in the game and number 2 for Kelty and in form striker Stuart Cargill came on 20mins when he was on hand to finish a loose ball in the box to get his 10th goal in 5 games to make the score HOB 0 Kelty 2.

Brian Ritchie had to come off after 30mins due to a suspected broken nose after a clash with Duffin and his replacement Craig O'Reilly had a 30 yard effort well saved by the Haws number 1.

2nd half - Hill Of Beath had the wind behind them this half but the Kelty rearguard were more than a match for the Haws strikers. Captain Shaun Greig had a strangle hold in midfield which gave us a platform to try and get the killer 3rd goal, chances for O'Reilly and Cargill came and went then Nelly McCabe was sent off for The Hearts in an incident no one seemed to see in the ground apart from the linesman who informed the referee.

The 10 men of Kelty were still on top with us being driven on by the excellent Greig in midfield but a tense finish was to ensue as Aaron Hay pulled a goal back for Hill Of Beath late on but the ref blew for another deserved victory for Kelty to make it 5 wins from 5 games.
