Kelty were able to secure the signature of experienced Defender Dougie Hill from Brechin City for the 2020/21 Season.

Hill began his Youth Career with Falkirk before signing for Alloa Athletic for the 2004/05 Season, Hill ended up signing for the Alloa side on another 2 occasions playing a total of 76 games and scoring 3 times. Prior to Hill’s third stint at Alloa though he spent 6 season with Raith Rovers where he was part of the 2013/14 Scottish Challenge Cup winning side, during the Challenge Cup Final Hill was named Man of the Match in the 1-0 win over Rangers.

During Hill’s 6 Seasons at Raith he played 4 times on Loan for Brechin where he would eventually sign for the 2016/17 Season, a season in which Hill and Brechin went on to gain promotion to the Scottish Championship. In 2017 after a successful trial Dougie went on to join Championship side Dumbarton where he played 29 times scoring once, in a play-off semi-final against Arbroath. Prior to Signing for Kelty Hearts Dougie had a third spell for Brechin City, playing 32 times and scoring 3 times.

Dougie was part of the Brechin Side that went on to gain promotion to the Championship in 2017 as well as a Challenge Cup Winners Medal and Man of The Match award in the 1-0 Cup Final win against Rangers F.C.
