Kelty were delighted to sign Michael Tidser in early 2020 to bolster the Midfield ahead of the season close.
Tidser began his Youth Career with Celtic where he captained the U19 Squad before being released by the Glasgow side. The youngster then went on to have a short spell with Swedish side Ostersunds before signing with Morton in 2010. In his 3rd month with the side Tidser was named Young Player of the Month for the league and went on to play 103 times over 3 seasons for the Ton.
Next up for Tidser was a trip south of the border to Rotherham United after the League One side had an offer accepted. While at Rotherham Tidser spent two spells out on Loan, first at Ross County and then for Oldham Athletic. After 2 Season down south it was a return to Greenock Morton for a further 4 Seasons and 52 Appearances.
Prior to Joining Kelty Tidser played for Falkirk FC during the first half of the 2019-20 Season. Michael has made a quick impression with the Fife side and has been named Captain for the 2020-21 Season.
Honours: To date Tidser has picked up the Young Player of the Month award, a First Division Player of the Year Nomination, a First Division Team of the Year spot for the 2012-13 Season and a Lowland League Winners Medal with Kelty Hearts.
